Partial Cash on Delivery (COD) Terms & Conditions

We offer Partial Cash on Delivery (COD) to provide flexibility.
By placing a Cash on Delivery (COD) order with Woven Lace & Border, the customer agrees to the following terms regarding partial payments
:

1. 30% Advance Requirement

  • To validate and process any COD order, a mandatory 30% advance payment of the total invoice value (including taxes and shipping, if applicable) is required.
  • The remaining 70% balance is payable in cash to the shipping partner upon physical delivery of the goods.

 

2. Order Confirmation & Dispatch

  • Orders will remain in a "Pending" status until the 30% advance payment is successfully received.
  • Once payment is confirmed, the order will be processed and dispatched.
  • Please note that the delivery timeline begins from the date the advance payment is received, not the date the order was initially placed on the website.

 

3. Non-Refundable Nature of Advance

The 30% advance payment is non-refundable under the following circumstances:

  • The order is cancelled by the customer after it has been dispatched from our warehouse.
  • The customer refuses to accept the delivery at the doorstep.
  • The courier partner is unable to deliver the package after three (3) attempts due to the customer being unavailable or providing an incorrect address/contact details.

 

4. Purpose of the Policy

  • This policy is designed to mitigate losses incurred from transit costs and the specialized handling of delicate textile products (Laces, Borders, and Trimmings).
  • As many of our products are cut-to-size or packaged specifically for the customer's requirements, this deposit ensures a mutual commitment to the transaction.

 

5. Payment Methods for Advance

  • Customers can fulfill the 30% advance via our secure payment gateway using UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, or Net Banking.
  • Once the order is placed, a secure payment link will be provided via the checkout page, Email, or WhatsApp.

 

6. Discrepancies and Returns

  • If a product is received in a damaged condition or does not match the description, our standard Return & Refund Policy applies.
  • In cases where a return is approved by our team due to an error on our part, the 30% advance will be eligible for a refund or store credit or will be adjusted against replacement of the same or another (if unavailable) product.

 

7. Exclusions (e.g., Discount Coupons)

  • Please note that discount coupons and other promotional offers may not be applicable to orders placed using the Partial Payment option, unless specified otherwise.
  • The advance payment amount remains fixed.
